Karnataka Power Transmission Corporation Limited is a registered company under the Companies Act, 1956 was incorporated on 28-7-1999 and is a company wholly owned by the Government of Karnataka with an authorised share capital of Rs. 1455 crores. KPTCL was formed on 1-8-1999 by carving out the Transmission and Distribution functions of the erstwhile Karnataka Electricity Board.

KPTCL recruitment 2015 was released for assistant engineer (AE) in civil and electrical departments, junior electrical engineer and assistant account officer (AAO). The number of vacancies is 912. Recruitment details for this posts has been mentioned below:-

Educational qualification:

Candidate should have passed in diploma or graduation from a recognized college or university

Pay scale:

• Assistant Electrical Engineer –  Rs. 18380-32610/- Per Month
• Assistant Civil Engineers –  Rs. 18380-32610/- Per Month
• Assistant Accounts Officers –   Rs. 18380-32610/- Per Month
• Junior Electrical Engineers –  Rs. 11750-29070/- Per Month

Age limit:

• Lower age limit: 18 years
• General upper age limit: 35 years
• OBC upper age limit: 38 years
• SC/ ST upper age limit: 40 years

Selection process: Will be made on the basis of Written exam & Interview Test
